The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
